Savannah Now - Letters to the editor Sunday: Letter misinterprets socialism

This is a response to a letter published Sept. 5 that suggest the Democratic candidate for the U.S. House, Lisa Ring, stands for socialism and thus implies the Republican incumbent, Rep. Buddy Carter, stands for capitalism. The letter writer also strongly implies this is an all-or-nothing situation. It is apparent that he either does not know what socialism is or what it entails.
